January 2020 offers on Wilderness First Responder (non medics), Advanced Wilderness Life Support (medics) courses. Discounts and free Risk Management courses.

January 2020 Offers on Wilderness First Responder (and WFR Refresher) and Advanced Wilderness Life Support courses as seen across our social media pages for the last month.

Both of these courses are up to date, Medical School accredited courses, delivered by an exceptional Faculty of passionate educators, highly qualified to teach these courses - and experienced in working as medics in some of the remotest places on the planet.

We are passionate about remote area safety - delivering specialist and appropriate, real world training to increase remote area safety awareness and enable people to operate safely is a big part of our 'Why?'. In particular, we are interested in upskilling medics in the field of remote area specific Risk Management. To that end, we have an excellent offer for those wanting to undertake WFR or AWLS in 2020.

We have discounts on both WFR and AWLS courses and a free place (usually £190) on a Royal Geographical Society certified Off Site Safety Management course (exped and field safety planning and delivery) for full WFR and for AWLS courses booked by 31.01.20.* Also discounted WFR Refresher courses. The combination of the two courses entitles delegates to the R2Ri patch, only available to those who have undertaken the OSSM course (or attended the C:ORE Risk Conference) and one other course with us. A badge signifying dedication and an understanding of remote area risk management.

*T & C’s apply. 1 free place per person . Not transferable. Only if successful bookings made (form submitted by you by 31.01.20, accepted by us & invoice issued by us) full payment made and booked WFR or AWLS undertaken. Subject to availability (AWLS, OSSM & WFR have max numbers). Does not apply to WFR Refresher courses.

For those wanting to achieve the Wilderness Medical Society Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, our AWLS and remote area focused PHTLS courses carry credits. We also have two new courses coming that also carry credits. Our aim is that FAWM will be achievable in the UK without jumping on a plane.
