The R2Ri team have trained numerous clients operating in the voluntary sector including those operating in the Charity, Conservation and Search and Rescue spheres.

Team members have delivered Search team training, medical, Lost Person Behavior courses, Search Planner and Search Manager scenarios and exercises.

The team includes several current SAR team members, Off Shore Rescue Team Leaders and ex Mountain Rescue Members.

We have a not for profit division that often undertakes pro bono work for organisations in these sectors. Applications for support are considered on a case by case basis.

We run a number of courses that are relevant to SAR teams including First Aid, Medical, Safeguarding, Off Site Safety Management and Lost Person Behaviour Courses. We run a number of these courses on a not for profit basis, for SAR teams across the year. Teams can apply to us for training and we will consider each application on its merits. The courses must all be run at weekends and teams who are successful in their applications must provide the venue at no cost, cover travel, provide copious amounts of tea and (if relevant) accommodation costs plus certification and manuals. There will be no charge for instructor time. Its our way of supporting this important service.

Four R2Ri team members have delivered multi-faceted training scenario for UK Search and Rescue Teams. These include the team doctor running medical scenarios, nurse playing role of casualty, rope rescue instructor delivering security on steep ground training and training co ordinator designing, co ordinating and delivering scenarios including Search Planner role).

// We also deliver Lost Person Behaviour courses

Team members have Mountain Rescue, Medical Rescue, Off Shore Rescue, Sheriff's Department SAR team in wilderness areas in the U.S. and UK Lowland Rescue experience.

Team members have taught numerous skills to SAR and Ranger teams and those needing to use SAR capabilities in the field (remote area exploration teams for example). Training has been delivered in England, Wales, Offshore, China, Canada, Peru, USA and elsewhere. This training has included medical (including Mountain Rescue Casualty Care), Remote Area First Aid, Rope Rescue courses (from the UK to Macchu Picchu), the Official Lost Person Behaviour courses (part of our charitable outreach), search skills (theory and practical over numerous field exercises and desk top scenarios), Search Planner training exercises, Off-Site Safety Management courses and much more.
