Tim B is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society an experienced and highly skilled HCPC registered medical professional, Remote Area Medic, Clinical Educator and SC cleared Combat Medic with extensive experience of working in remote and challenging environments.


During the last 11 years Tim has been fortunate enough to work in a number of remote regions around the globe, including; he has experience of providing medical care in Northern Iraq, Central/East Africa, South America, Himalayan foothills, offshore Tunisia, North Africa, Patagonia, Indonesia, India, Kenya, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Guyana, Algeria, Malta, Germany, Uganda, Kurdistan, Jordan, parts of central and eastern Europe and of course the UK. During this time, he had the opportunity to undertake a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, including; audit of local national healthcare facilities, consulting on medical equipment and supply chain management, conducting medical emergency response planning and implementation, managing teams of healthcare professionals and providing expert medical care in often difficult and challenging situations with limited top side support.Tim has worked all over the globe for clients such as; BBC Natural History Unit, multiple oil and gas companies, expedition companies, security companies, VIP’s and well know medical training companies.

 

Tim has special interests in the following clinical areas; airway management, respiratory trauma, prolonged field care, battlefield trauma and special circumstances. Travel, tropical, expedition and Military medicine are my main areas of interest
