Alby is a commando trained military doctor who prior to medical school started out instructing in the outdoor industry including sailing expeditions to the Arctic.

 

He has experience of busy South African emergency departments, event cover as well as being part of the medical team for large scale military events.

 

Alby is a Faculty Member for Remote Area Risk International where he teaches Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support and Military Faculty for Battlefield Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Alby holds a PGCert in Medical Education and also teaches on the European Trauma Course. FIMC and HEMS Doctor rounds off an impressive CV.
