H is a Doctor with a background in Emergency Medicine and anaesthesia - and is now a GP in Scotland. H regularly provides medical cover for endurance events and expeditions around the UK and the world.

H is a Faculty Member for Remote Area Risk International where she teaches Advanced Wilderness Life Support (for those medically qualified).

 

Fellow in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine, Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and working towards a Masters in Global Health and Infectious Disease. In 2018, H completed her Diploma in Remote and Offshore Medicine - RCS (Edin).

 

Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society.

 

PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification and studying for the PADI Divemaster qualification.
